About Me
I am Viki Melton, a UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist in training, providing weekly one to one psychotherapy and counselling to adults. I have a clinical NHS background with significant experience in specialist counselling and trauma.
I work with a range of relational and emotional challenges including loss, anxiety and relationship issues. I work with people from all backgrounds with warmth and compassion in an open and honest way, towards a greater understanding of themselves.
I am currently completing an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute, London, one of the most highly regarded psychotherapy institutions in the UK. I work in private practice and for a variety of charities.
I am a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework. I have ongoing supervision with a senior-accredited UKCP/BACP registered Integrative Psychotherapist to safeguard both of us and as required by my training institution.

How I Work
I provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space
to work together in an integrative and relational way.
Integrative psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that combines elements
from different theories and practice with the uniqueness of us as individuals. It aims
to tailor the therapy process to a person’s individual needs, considering their
unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.
I believe human relationships are central to psychological well-being.
Our patterns of relating with others significantly influence our thoughts,
emotions, and behaviours. I view my relationship with clients
as central to facilitating change.
My approach is warm, authentic and non-judgemental.
I help clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves;
their experiences, relationships and behaviours.
I offer the opportunity to explore new ways of being in the present.
I offer a collaborative approach, nurturing agency and empowerment.
